The newly formed Sylvester-Worth County Recreation Department (SWCRD) Track and Field Team along with The Georgia Peanut Festival will host this year’s 5K and FUN RUN. The run is scheduled for September 23, 2023, starting at 8:00 AM at Jeffords Park in Sylvester. All proceeds from the event will support the continued growth of the SWCRD Track and Field program for the youth in our community.
The cost for the 5K is $45 and the price for the 1-Mile FUN RUN is $25. All entrants signed up by September 11, 2023, will receive a Georgia Peanut Festival 5K/FUN RUN T-shirt.
If you or your business would like to support our community’s youth, you can become a sponsor of this event and have your name/business name printed on the 5K/FUN RUN T-shirts. All sponsorships wanting to be printed on the t-shirts must be submitted by September 8, 2023.
