The Georgia Peanut Festival is both a celebration as well as a "THANK YOU" to our community and most importantly, our local farmers.This year's festival will be held again at T.C. Jeffords Park in downtown Sylvester, October 19, 2013 and promises to be AN EVENT YOU WON'T FORGET!
The Georgia Peanut Festival is the record holder for making the world’s largest peanut butter sandwich, 12 foot wide by 12 foot long in 1987.
Thousands of people will flock to Sylvester-Worth County to enjoy the festivities held throughout the weekend.
If you haven’t been yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!
There are LOTS of activities planned for this year's event, including a softball tournament, a 5K run, the Georgia Peanut Festival Pageant, a golf tournament, and one HUGE SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!
The famous Peter Pan Peanut Butter Parade kicks off the festivities Saturday morning! Bands, clowns, cars, local celebrities, politicians, beauty queens, and floats line the streets of downtown Sylvester.
This is a parade you don't want to miss!
Everyone is invited to come enjoy a day of southern food, fun, and entertainment at the 50th Annual Georgia Peanut Festival. It's a fun event for the entire family.
